We welcome you on the webpage of the Swiss deaf sports federation
The Swiss deaf sports association SGSV-FSSS is the oldest handicapped sports federation of Switzerland and was founded in 1930 in Zurich.
The SGSV-FSSS presents a wiedespread and attractive sports off to all deaf people from whole Switzerland.
The SGSV-FSSS is involved in the promotion of young people and supports ambitious sportswoman and sportsmen in international competitions.
The SGSV-FSSS aims at an integration by sport and strengthens so the independence and by it again the quality of life.
Preview on Ski EC in Davos
From 25th February to 2nd March 2012 the best skiers will compete at the European Championship iin Davos on the "Pischa-Course".
About 60 athletes from 11 countries will be expected. In addition to the European Championship the World Cup will also take place. Thies means that also participants outside from Europe can start, but will appear in a separate ranking list.
The OC around the President Toni Koller is in close cooperation with the mountain railways Davos/Klosters, with the ski club Davos and other partners.
On Friday, 24th February, the official opening ceremony will take place and on Friday, 2nd March, the final party of the EC will be held. In between, wo are hoping for an exciting and injury-free competition in fine weather.
